Our Mission
Living and Loving Like Jesus.
Our Vision
Through intentional relationships we desire to see more people:
-
Deepen their faith in Jesus (Colossians 1:9-14; Colossians 1:28-29; 2 Timothy 2:2)
-
Reflect Him to others (Ephesians 5:1-21; Galatians 5:22-23; Acts 4:13)
-
Join God’s family in our community and around the world (Matthew 28:18-20)
Our Values
We value…
We seek to increasingly reflect these values as we rely on the Holy Spirit.
-
Loving God. We owe Him everything and love Him with our entire being (Matthew 22:37-38).
-
Loving All People. We seek to love everyone like Jesus (Matthew 22:39, Matthew 25:31-36; James 2:8-9). “We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19). Jesus tells us to love our enemies (Matthew 5:43-48). We love in words and deeds (1 John 3:18).
-
Forgiving Others. Because Jesus has forgiven us, we forgive others and seek reconciliation. We also seek to handle conflict with truth and grace (Matthew 18:21-35; Ephesians 4:15; Galatians 6:1-5; Matthew 18:15-17).
-
Praying Consistently. We seek to maintain open communication with God throughout the day (1 Thessalonians 5:17; Colossians 4:2; Luke 5:16; Psalm 19:13-14; Matthew 7:7-11). We pray as a church, recognizing the impact of corporate prayer (2 Chronicles 7:14; Acts 1:14; Acts 12:1-17).
-
Learning from the Scriptures. We immerse ourselves in the Bible so that we can know God better, and live and love like Jesus (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Romans 15:4-6; Joshua 1:8).
-
Staying Connected with Each Other. We are better together when we worship, pray, grow, give and serve together (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25; Proverbs 27:17).
-
Relying on God. God gives us everything we need to live and love like Jesus (John 15:1-17; 2 Timothy 1:7; 2 Corinthians 1:4; 2 Corinthians 9:8; Philippians 4:13, 1 Corinthians 10:13). We recognize that God’s power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
-
Taking the Next Step. We seek to be open to Jesus’ direction in every area of our lives (Romans 12:1-2). We want to make the most of every opportunity. We long for more people to experience the difference Jesus can make in their lives. (1 Peter 3:13-17; Colossians 4:3-6; 2 Timothy 2:2).
